The newest DLC for Borderlands is The Secret Armory of General Knoxx.  This latest installment follows on the heal of the fairly fun Zombie Island of Dr. Ned, and the mediocre MAd Moxxi’s Underdome Riot.

This addition to a great game makes the game even better and actually enhances your options.  Characters can now go to 11.  That’s right! E-L-E-V-E-N more levels for your toon to die through until you get to the new limit of 61.  As an expansion, Knoxx is really polished so far.  I haven’t completed it yet, but it’s got a lot of great comedic elements and good action.  We’ve noticed that some of the voice actors are different, but it isn’t too obvious at first.  Only when they mix in some of the old canned phrases with a new dialog, can you really tell.

So far, this DLC looks like a keeper.  There’s even a new vehicle and a special pink vehicle at one point. Thanks Moxxi! Check out the trailer.

Twas the Frag before Christmas, when all through the map
